Informal Conversation

Our secretary had the excellent idea to introduce informal French conversation sessions in the pub, late morning.  The first one took place in early November 2017 at the Dairyman in Brentwood High Street, and it is now an established monthly event.

We soon outgrew the table in the Dairyman and after flirting with a couple of venues in the town we have now settled on Brentwood Library.  Keep an eye on this page for more information.

The meetings fluctuate between Wednesday and Thursday each month

Next Meeting

In order to allow you plenty of time to recover from all the seasonal festivities, our informal chat sessions for 2020 will begin on the second Wednesday in January

Thursday 6th February
between 10.30am and 12noon
in the Coffee Shop in Brentwood Library

£1 per head in order to defray the costs of hiring the library space.

Coffee is available from the counter at a modest charge.

As usual, all levels are welcome, whether or not you are a member of the Association and whatever the level of your French.  French speakers will be on hand to help you.

Jude, our Secretary, says that “As I have had to miss the last three, I’m really looking forward to catching up with everyone”.

We look forward to seeing you there!
