Sadly, Montbazon has recently lost three long standing members
of the twinning committee who were well-known to many of us.

Pierre Gissat

Pierre was President after Marie-Thérèse Goizet from
2002 to 2008, Treasurer from 2012 to 2014 and Assistant
Treasurer from 2015 until his death.

Marie-Françoise Dorgueil

Marie was Secretary in 2003 and 2004, Assistant Secretary in 2009 and on the Executive until 2010.
With her husband Christian, she took part in all their various
activities especially the tea parties, where he tried out her cake
recipes.

Marie Thérèse GOIZET

Please see below the message from Michelle Garbet, Secretary of the Montbazon Town Twinning Association, about their founder President Marie Thérèse GOIZET., who died recently.  Many of you will have known her, but more recent members won’t.

“Une triste nouvelle, Marie Thérèse GOIZET nous a quitté, la cérémonie religieuse sera célébrée le 8 avril à 14h30 en l’église Saint Etienne, place Michelet à TOURS en famille.
